Miami Green Homes.

Started in 2009, a site about Green Building projects, Sustainability and Environment. Initially focused on Miami, Florida, post topics expanded to areas of relatable climate and project types.

Get tips & tricks and events for sustainable home improvements. How to green your home, small business or other project from a simple upgrade, to an addition and renovation to all new construction. Focus on resilience and durability in projects and lifestyle choices.

Look for categories to include water and energy savings, waste control, air quality improvements to landscaping, and other best practices for your more environmental project.

    Hello,

One of the biggest global issues we face today is warming. Heavy debate lies on issues like space travel, burning of fossil fuels, and deforestation. A clear rally cry for more prevalent green initiatives has been underway for some time, but who is answering?

The U.S. Green Building Council is one such collaborative unit that plays its role in ensuring sustainability. I’d like to take a moment to discuss with you and the readers of http://miamigreenhome.com what it means to be LEED certified, and how other organizations are performing their green duties.

Take a moment to consider this as I’d very much like to contribute a guest piece!

    Kindly,

    Dan
