He oversees the administration, maintenance and update of the County’s adopted
Comprehensive Development Master Plan. The Department’s Planning Division is the
lead office for all land use, comprehensive planning and growth management
matters, as well as,historic preservationand sustainability initiatives for Miami-Dade
Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources
County.
Eric Carpentier, Public Works Director for the city of Miami Beach
The City’s Public Works Department is an American Public Works Association (APWA)
Accredited agency consisting of nearly 400 public works professionals committed to
provide excellent public infrastructure and public services to the City of Miami Beach
Mr. Carpenter is a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer. He has served seven years
as member of Board of Directors for South Florida Branch of APWA. He was awarded
the 2010 Government Engineer of the Year Award by the Miami-Dade Branch of the
American Society of Civil Engineers
Sebastien Eilert – “Green” Architect
German born Architect practicing in Miami, Florida as Principal of Sebastian Eilert
Architecture, Inc. Project focus is on sustainable design and consulting, as well as
historic preservation. Involved in the local building industry and AIA component since
1998. Founding member of the USGBC South Florida Chapter and chair of the AIA
Miami Committee on the Environment (COTE). 2005 Historic Preservation and 2011 &
2009 Sustainable Design Architect award from the local AIA community. Teaching at
the University of Miami, School of Architecture a class on Contemporary Sustainable
Design
